EUIPO stands for European Union Intellectual Property Office. It is the EU’s central authority for the registration and administration of EU trademarks and registered Community designs.
The EUIPO is based in Alicante, Spain, and enables companies and private individuals to obtain trademark and design protection in all EU member states with a single application. In addition to administering these intellectual property rights, the EUIPO also promotes the enforcement of intellectual property and works closely with national authorities and international organizations.
